GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD;
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
GREETINGS FROM COFRADIA, MEXICO!
We had a busy month, but it was very fruitful!
We spoke at a couple different churches, worked with leaders, met with a couple for pre-marital counseling, performed a ceremony for a 40th wedding anniversary, spent a few days working with a married couple in crisis, and had a great time meeting with our pastors of the Cofradía United Ministries. Be sure to check out their bi-annual updates in Pastors' Perspectives.
Even though we were busy, it is always a blessing to work with people and see their eyes opened to the truth. God is good!
Below pictures are:
Cofradía United Ministry's pastors we met together on June 25, for a corporal worship time and an important prayer time in groups of men and women.
Speaking @ Rey de Reyes church in Guadalajara. I had the privilege of speaking at a moment's notice the day after I performed the 40th wedding anniversary. It was fun!
Jaime and Eva with their family as they celebrate 40 years together!!
Pastor Goyo teaching at the Leadership School that started up again on Tuesday evenings. The class is called "Living in the Balance of Grace and Faith".
We had communion at the Pastor's meeting. It was a very special time together as we "discerned the body" as it says in 1 Corinthians 11. Exodus 12 mentions eating all of the body "the head, legs and internal organs" (NIV). That means they ate everything, even parts they might not have liked! So it is as we unite ourselves with Christ and with each other, we accept one another with all their faults, they accept us with all our faults, we are challenged to love one another...even those who are hard to love, and we become one body, united in Christ.
COFRADIA KITCHEN
This month was a little busy for us and we did not get out to the Kitchen to take many pictures. Mati and Isabel continue to do a great job preparing the kids a breakfast in the mornings before going to school. Thank you for partnering with us to help the kids. Please remember to pray for them.
RESTORATION HOUSE Pastor Amado's resident, Ivan, did a great job during his stay at the Restoration House. He is no longer living there and has returned to his family a changed man. He continues to meet with Pastor Amado for Bible Studies along with his wife and has come along side Amado to be very helpful during Sunday Services and other activities. Praise the Lord!
