Inter Club Challenge Autocross (DTC)

The upcoming Lotus Inter Club Challenge Autocross (DTC) is scheduled for Saturday 16th July 2022.

Please note the following details on the various comms.

** Entries will be restricted to 60 people, so please send your entry in ASAP so you do not miss out. **

Entry Fee is $100.00 per driver, entry and payment details can be seen at https://racers.world/event/2283/do/enter please follow the attached entry procedure document to make sure you enrol in the correct category.

If a vehicle is dual entered please send an email to dtc@lotusclubqueensland.com so it can be accommodated once the RACERS entry has been completed

You need a RACERS account to enter which should be tied to the email address you used when first applying for a RACERS license.

"Ducktail" makes it so fast!

50 years ago the Porsche 911Carrera RS 2.7 got a rear spoiler. This made it "Germany's fastest sports car" and gave it its nickname "Ducktail".

First Porsche had doubts in its success: The marketing department didn't anybody expect to buy one. In the end Porsche built three times as much as planned...

We take this legendary 911 for a ride on German Autobahn and in the Black Forest. We take a look at it from all sides. We can't stop listening to the flat six's unique sound. Porsche engineer Tilman Brodbeck tells how he came up with the idea of a rear spoiler. And he discloses a secret: Why did the Ford Capri help give birth to the "Ducktail"...?
