Updates
Many of you have started to utilize the new available support resources at UCF: the kNEXT phone number (407-823-6398), the kNEXT website and Workday Help.

Because of this, we've been able to hear your feedback and work on getting you the answers you need.
We Heard You
  1. Feedback about Workday's initial slow loading speed
  2. Questions around basic Workday Functionality
  3. Questions about time tracking in Workday
  4. Questions on training
  5. Questions regarding information and data in the system
  6. Feedback on missing steps or insufficient information in existing job aids
We Took Action
  1. Worked with the Workday team to add more servers to resolve this issue
  2. Distributed daily Campus News emails with helpful tips and reminders to all UCF employees
  3. Provided targeted reminders about Timekeepers, delegation and additional details about submitting and approving time
  4. Sent a Campus News training reminder and Vol. 8 of the Workday Training Edition 
  5. Distributed data conversion messaging to provide updates on when data would update this month 
  6. Revisited and modified existing job aids to provide additional support

1. Tired of those red numbers in your navigation bar? Well, you can clear notifications in Workday! Learn how to “Mark Notifications as Read” by viewing our visual one-pager.
 
2. Manage your Workday Inbox by applying filters! You have the option to set up filters to narrow the list of inbox items you see to specific business process types and tasks that require action. See our most recent updated job aid to learn more – View and Filter Your Inbox

3. View our collection of Workday Help Articles by Category! You can visit the Help application to view and navigate to Help articles by selecting a category. Categories within Workday Help are the same as the categories found in our Workday Training Catalog.

Workday Time Tracking
Non-exempt employees: Don't forget to submit your time! The next deadline for submitting time in Workday will be Friday, July 22 at 12 p.m. ET.
Workday Maintenance
Workday will be undergoing maintenance and unavailable for use during the following dates and times in July: 
  • Saturday, July 9, 2022 - 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. 
  • Saturday, July 16, 2022 - 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.  
  • Saturday, July 23, 2022 - 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
  • Saturday, July 30, 2022 - 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.
