In celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the RCCG Everlasting Father's Assembly, Leeds has donated to charitable causes in the city. The donations, presented on behalf of the church by Pastor Samuel Obafaiye was to two selected charities that are impacting on the community. They are Age UK - a charity that supports the aged, and British Heart Foundation (BHF) (researches into heart diseases). Presenting a cheque to Ms Paula Leornard, Manager, Age UK, Leeds, Pastor Obafaiye said the RCCG EFA Leeds indentifies with the cause of the charity in making sure the aged in the community are well taken care, as it is also a Biblical injunction. Ms Leonard thanked the church for the donation and most especially for the thought.
In the same vein, Pastor Obafaiye visited the Leeds' New Market Road branch of BHF to donate in support of its efforts in researh into heart diseases. Receiving the cheque donation, Ms Julie, the manager expressed appreciation on behalf of BHF. 
And earlier today (26/12/11), the women fellowship, led by Pastor (Mrs) Tonia Obafaiye, presented some material and financial gifts to St George Church, Leeds to assist its charity achieve its goals and aspiration.
