Dear Parents and Carers.

I would like to thank everyone for a wonderful term 2 and hope you all get a restful break and we look forward to seeing the children again in term 3 on Tuesday, 19th July.

We can all wear our pyjamas/dressing gowns tomorrow to celebrate our end of term. You are welcome to send in a coin donation for Vinnies Winter Appeal but not Compulsory.

We welcome Catherine Sheridan to our office team. Cath will be our Finance Officer full time as of term 3.

RE NEWS

Congratulations to our Year 3 children who received the Sacrament of First Eucharist on Sunday 19th June.

It was a very special occasion and I would like to thank everyone involved in making the day so special.

We will be celebrating Grandparents Day with a Liturgy in the Mercy Hall on Tuesday 26th July at 11.30am.

CHAMP AWARD

Our final assembly for Term 2 is tomorrow morning (Friday 1st July) at 9.10am in the Mercy Hall.
Just a reminder it's pj day. Wear your pyjamas/dressing gown & a pair of sensible shoes ;)
You are welcome to donate a coin for the Vinnies Appeal but it is not compulsory.

TUCKSHOP

TUCKSHOP: WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY & FRIDAY
Our menu is back .... the only thing we don't have is party pies but hot dogs are now available in place of these.
Recess is now available and each item is $2 as per menu via the QKR app or over the counter (please make sure correct money is provided)
Volunteers are now allowed to help at the tuckshop. We are really short of helpers so if you can assist it would be greatly appreciated.
Please see the attached roster for days and times helpers are needed. Or even if you wish to go on as an emergency that would be great.

Volunteers must be double vaccinated & have their current NSW WWCC.

SPORT NEWS

Congratulations to all those athletes who made it to Diocesan Athletics next term. A note with more details will come home to the successful athletes this week. Please hop on to the CSNSW website to complete registration as soon as possible.
A full list of students will be in our first newsletter term 3.

Our Paul Kelly Cup Girls team were runners up at the Competition in Griffith yesterday. They will now travel to Sydney to compete at the next level. Well done Girls.

This is also our way of thanking you and your school community for your wonderful contribution to our Cranes for Peace Exhibition.
Once the exhibition has closed, we will arrange for all the cranes to be transported to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, with acknowledgement to your school’s contribution.
We look forward to celebrating this special event with your school community.
