Hi Everyone,
We all needed reminding that it IS actually Winter so we shouldn't expect to bask in sunny, blue sky days every Sunday morning! However, the fog lifted in time for the start of Week 6 of the Winter Series which doubled as the John Pulman Memorial Handicap race. 76 riders signed on and the handicap and grade results are attached.
It was another exciting race and congratulations to Quinn Dixon who won today's race (for the second year running) with Dylan Rowe the winner of the U15's and Blake Bailey taking home the prize for fastest time.
Points will be sorted on the website this week. Thank you to our marshals - Wayne Strong, Selwyn (Wayne's 'spotter'), along with members of the Puahue Hall fundraising committee for wrapping up to brave the chilly start to the day. Thank you also to Karmen for taking the photos at the finish line and to Kelly and Janine for helping Brian with the U15's.
A reminder that there is no racing next Sunday as the North Island Secondary Schools Champs are on. We'll see you on the 17th of July for the final Korakonui race in this series.
Have a great week
Regards
Melinda
