SSCNA LAUNCH OF SPORT FOR SOCIAL CHANGE AFRICA AWARDS

In a post-pandemic world, it is important to recognise the valiant efforts of individuals and organisations that have made an impact to further the progress of social change, aiding those who needed it most and give the most of what they could offer.

In the spirit of recognition and appreciation, we present the Sport for Social Change Africa Awards 2022! This is a night of celebration, where we get to look at the faces of those who have been the catalysts for change in areas of Africa that need it most. Through sport, they have achieved incredible feats of sustainability and relief, providing a glimmer of hope when it seems lost.

Through these awards, we also aim to grow our network and the networks of these titans of change, to increase our efforts and expand our joint-reach in the African sphere of development.

More information will be released at a later date- for now, here is what you can look forward to and prepare for!

We appeal to sports federations, organisations, NGO’s and sports lovers who are serious about using sport as a tool to change their communities and society, and ultimately the world, to heed the words of the beloved father of our nation. Let’s come together and explore how we can use the power of sport to change the world.

Sport For Social Change Network Africa spent YOUTH DAY 2022 with @wearesoweto, just a stones through away from the start point of the youth uprising of 1976. A time to acknowledge those who gave so much for the freedoms of the youth of today.
A quiet brilliant execution with sensational coaching and playing talents on display.
