Register for free backpacks and basic school supplies

Families who qualify for free or reduced lunch can register online by July 31 to get a free backpack and basic school supplies for the 2022-23 school year. School supplies are donated by our community and are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, so registering early is highly encouraged. Families will need to submit a separate request for each child.

School supplies and backpacks will be distributed at school the week of Aug. 15-18. Those who register will receive an email in early August with the specific dates and times when supplies can be picked up.

BGPS’ Board of Directors conducted a regular board meeting on Monday, June 27. Highlights are in this week's BG Board, Briefly. Archived video of board meetings is available on the district website. The next regular board meeting will be held on July 25 at 6:00 p.m.
