Dear <<First Name>>,

Our community is mourning the loss of 20-year-old Azsia Johnson in a brutal murder last night on East 95th Street between 3rd and Lexington Avenues. Azsia was murdered while pushing her 3 month old baby in a stroller right in front of PS 198/Lower Lab and the Samuel Seabury Playground.

It is unfathomable that such a senseless act of violence could happen with a mother pushing her baby in a stroller in front of a school and park. I know our entire community is still processing this horrific violence and is devastated by these events. Tonight, please join me at a candlelight vigil with community members on East 93rd Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenue.

I hope you can join me at this vigil. We must stand up against gun violence and come together as a community during these dark times.
Best,
Julie
