“Punks for the Park” music festival to raise money for skatepark this weekend in Franklin

When Matt Jackson moved here in 2017 he noticed that Franklin seemed to be decaying with the closure of the Labor and Delivery Unit at our local hospital and not long after, the closure of the bowling alley and then the skating rink. As a real estate agent, Jackson is invested in the growth of this town. He doesn’t skate; he doesn’t have kids but “it’s a shame to see the town stagnating.” He sees so much potential in the skate park for the youth of Franklin; “more potential than just skater kids.” It is with his passion, among many others passion that we hope to have a place for the youth of Franklin to hang out.
