Welcome to Summer 2022. Just wanted to throw a few updates at you while I tan. Super cas(ual). (Caj? Cazsch? Cadg?)
My thesis was produced! Shown in April at Space Place, I directed a cast of fifteen movers (plus Sean) and collaborated with a composer/percussionist to create Seanshuuraku. This 40-minute improvisation-heavy work can be seen on my website... in censored and uncensored varieties! I am so glad to have completed this process. My 69-page (nice.) written document has been submitted to the University of Iowa Library, and now I just have one more semester to focus on my studies (aka teach). Wish me luck!
New Yorkers! I'll be presenting a shortened, solo version of Seanshuuraku at Dixon Place's HOT! Festival in July. Tickets can be purchased online!

Also this spring, members of the University of Iowa's Department of Dance collaborated with the International Writer's Program. I worked with the phenomenal Lauren Linder on an interpretation of writer Luíza Fazio's screenplay Insubmission.
In June, I improvised in West Philly Porch Fest withVervet Dance. Later, I got the chance to design lighting and be a technical director for Anne-Marie Mulgrew & Dancers Company's first indoor show in two years!
I have a couple more small projects in the works this summer... let's see if they materialize!
Want a sticker? I have cool stickers now. Let me know.
