WE Bike NYC is 10 years old! Come help us celebrate this special anniversary with cake and community! This is an all-gender event for anyone who's been part of our journey, or supported or connected with us along the way. New and old friends are invited to come meet our volunteer leaders, and share a toast to our successful first decade and our promising future. Our friends at Po Campo, Cleverhood, Redbeard Bikes, 718 Cyclery and Bike Plant have generously donated great raffle prizes, so don't miss your chance to win.

WE Bike together to our birthday party at the Brooklyn Brewery! 

For this 5-mile ride, we'll meet up at the southwest corner of Madison Square Park, then we'll head down to the Williamsburg Bridge and roll through Williamsburg to the party destination.

Bring water, your helmet and a bike lock.

For this 4.5 mile ride, from Grand Army Plaza, we'll head up Vanderbilt Ave and then take the Kent Ave bike path to the party destination.

WE Bike to the New York Botanical Garden

Columbus Circle (Central Park), in front of the USS Maine Monument

Join WE Bike NYC for a fun ride to the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx!  WE'll start at Columbus Circle, ride through Central Park, cross into the Bronx via Randall's Island, and then ride up to the garden. Total distance is about 11 miles, including some riding in traffic.

WE'll end the ride at the garden's bike racks. You're welcome to come explore the garden and picnic with us. WE are excited that WE are able to provide a *limited* number of FREE tickets to the garden. Because of this perk, please only register if you are definitely able to attend, and if you are no longer able to attend please let us know.

Bring water, your helmet, a bike lock, and (optionally) a picnic lunch or money to purchase lunch at the garden cafe.

WE Bike to Coney Island

Gear up for beach season and take a ride with us to Coney Island! WE will be meeting at Grand Army Plaza (by the arch) at 9:30am and then biking through Prospect Park to get to Ocean Parkway. Then it’s a straight shot to Coney Island for sun and fun! WE will end the ride at the Tashkent Supermarket, an Uzbek market where we can pick up some snacks. After that, you can head off to explore on your own or have a group hang with the other WE bikers. The total ride distance is about 8 miles, almost entirely in bike lanes (including the first bike path in the United States, Ocean Parkway!) This is a one-way ride.

Bring water, your helmet, a bike lock, and (optionally) a picnic lunch or money to purchase lunch.

NightCAP weekly rides

Join NightCAP (Cyclists Against Patriarchy), a social ride for trans & nonbinary people, queer, and allied cis women. Each ride will meet at Herbert Von King Park, and the group will ride to various destinations, decided by leaders each week.

A Pop-Up Ride to Celebrate Women in Leadership and Independence
Saturday, July 2nd
Meet at 4:30pm, wheels down at 5pm

BK Library steps

This Saturday join us (@bicibellas) for a pop-up ride to celebrate women in leadership and independence.  We are asking for a kind donation to the @women_who_thrive organization which focuses on providing physical and mental fitness to young girls in public schools to empower women to take action. Cruising 20 miles. DM (@bicibellas) to RSVP.
(Knowing the weather is looking a little uncertain, we’re prepared w/ a back-up plan to still kick it indoors and/or a ride rain date of Sun 7/10. Stay posted for updates!)
