This Week at St. Anthony Parish
JULY 3, 2022 I Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
The seventy-two returned rejoicing, and said, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us because of your name." Jesus said, "I have observed Satan fall like lightning from the sky. Behold, I have given you the power to 'tread upon serpents' and scorpions and upon the full force of the enemy and nothing will harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice because the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice because your names are written in heaven." (Lk. 10: 17-20)
Read today's gospel.

Loving & Welcoming Our Neighbor
Fellow parishioners, do you still have your guide from the Parish Mission? We hope so!
In the "Welcoming" section of the Parish Mission Guide, on page 9, you'll find a Prayer to Love Your Neighbor from our patron Saint Anthony de Padua himself.
|
|
|
Why not open up your guide and take these words of Saint Anthony to prayer, pondering them in your heart?
May this prayer help foster an even greater culture of welcoming here at St. Anthony and at every parish. May those looking for a home, or help, or both, know that St. Anthony is a place to turn!

Theology on Tap Summer Series
Begins July 19
God’s providence is always at work. There are no coincidences with Him, and no place is too far to be reached by His grace and mercy. While there may be some places where the world wouldn’t expect Him to show up, He can move and speak in all times and places.
|
|
|
Even in grief. Even in transition. Even in your search for belonging or desire to live a good life.
Come hear stories of how people in our community have found God in unlikely places.
ALL young adults are welcome, Catholic or not!
