As several trustees are away on holiday, we decided not to produce our usual newsletter - but I always collect news items and relevant events that are time-sensitive and won't keep, so I am posting those.

We are delighted that Town Councillor Pam Taylor has joined our board of trustees. We look forward to getting the benefit of her extensive knowledge of the town and the residents and her active involvement on the Town Council.
LOCAL EVENTS
16 July - 'EarthBound' opens at the Stone Centre, Wirksworth
The local group of artists who created 'Hill' have now produced a new exhibition and book called "EarthBound' - The Story of Connected Life through Rock, Earth and Community".
The exhibtion opens at the Stone Centre from 6 to 8pm on 16 July. and is open every day from Sunday 17 July. It expects to carry on and be part of the Wirksworth Festival Trail in September.
At first glance, this event isn't relevant to our home energy efficiency measures. But our houses are made of materials, many of which come from rock and earth. That has implications. It is a strand in Connected Llfe through Rock, Earth and Community!
A date for your diary: our AGM will take place at Wellspring church at 7.30pm on Tuesday 18 October, 2022.
