Supreme Court restricts EPA's authority to mandate carbon emissions reductions

The issue before the court was how the EPA can regulate coal-fired power plants, which in this country are the single largest source of carbon emissions that cause climate challenge.

Eliza Lindley is a second year intern for the Office of Sustainability who works on several teams that seek to improve the sustainability of the UW–Madison campus.  


 

Hosts Kylie Thomasen and Rose Adler-Rephan speak with Dr. Barbara Hendrie, who is the Regional Director for the UN Environment Programme's North America Office. Dr. Hendrie has built over two decades of experience in sustainable development and humanitarian affairs, working for both the United Kingdom and United States governments.
