MCCLV'ers are needed on Thursday, July 28 from 1:30 to 3:30pm as MCCLV hosts worship at Phoebe Nursing Home (1925 W Turner Street in Allentown, PA 18104). Volunteers are needed to help transport residents and chat with people. These two hours spent with God's beloved ones will change your life. Reproductive Rights Rally
Join MCCLV'ers at a Reproductive Rights Rally THIS COMING Saturday, July 23 at 3pm at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown (meet at the pavilions on the Rose Garden side). A committed group of young people has organized the rally and would appreciate the support and solidarity of the community.

Help MCCLV serve street neighbors on Saturday, July 30 starting at 9am. Meet at MCCLV (1401 Greenview Drive Bethlehem, PA 18018) to prepare bagged lunches and then join in the distribution at the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter in downtown Bethlehem. Support Geriatric Parole
Join MCCLV Pastor Rev. Goudy in advocating for geriatric parole on Wednesday, August 10 at 11am at the Lehigh County Courthouse (455 Hamilton Street in Allentown, PA). The Amistad Law Project and the Coalition to Abolish Death by Incarceration (CADBI) are working to move district attorneys around the state to offer their support for (or at least not oppose) Senate Bill 835, which would provide for the possibility of medical/geriatric parole for persons over the age of 55 who have been in prison for twenty years or more. The public is invited to attend the August 10 event to urge Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin to support geriatric parole.
