Pupils Champion Diversity at South Hylton Primary Academy
 

Pupils at South Hylton held their very own Pride Day to celebrate diversity, difference and promote understanding. This was the second Pride Day the school has held and happened at the request of pupils at the school. Students  were enthusiastic to repeat last year's event.

Schools in the North East were invited to sing in a number of locations in Newcastle City Centre last week to take part in the Newcastle Sings Schools’ Festival Day. Each school had a different route through the city and they were given three locations to sing in.

Two Let Teachers SHINE projects

Boromi – is aimed at Early Years.  They are scaling-up their Play Libraries programme across schools located in the North of England
Boromi ("Borrow-Me") is a non-profit, multi-award-winning network of early years Play Libraries. They work in partnership with primary schools across the UK to improve early outcomes through building more purposeful shared play and positive interactions into the home environment. 
Limited school spaces to start from September 2022 are available to reserve now. If you’d like to register your interest, you can do so via this Expression of Interest form or you can get in touch anytime at hello@boromi.co.uk.

Maths Masterclass – is aimed at primary Maths.
