I normally tell people considering joining the Feed Christ's Lambs email list that I normally send out <1 email per month. However, it appears the last one that I sent was on November 10, 2021. I suppose there are a couple reasons for this which include:
COVID - The movie industry doesn't seem to have fully recovered quite yet
I haven't been invited to as many "Advance Screenings" with screenings in our area
I get emails regarding upcoming Christian movies (although less since 2020), but without being able to view an advance screening, it becomes more difficult to discern whether to spend a minimum of $800.00 (non-recoverable expense like posters, movie info cards, movie ticket giveaways on the radio) and potentially risk more than $5,000 if the movie has a minimum ticket requirement.
Fathom Events - Our B&B Theater does not have a contract with Fathom
Fathom events are limited showings, normally 3 or 4 days, and are a way for movie producers to release a movie at a lower cost. They don't normally have to two weeks of guaranteed showtimes that is standard with a theatrical release (Our last theatrical release was American Underdog). Fathom events are frequently released in theaters for limited showtimes and then are often made available to churches for streaming. This was the case with Christmas with The Chosen: The Messengers, which we hosted in cooperation with the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Olpe.
However, there are a few things I would like to mention which include The Value Them Both Kansas Constitutional Amendment, Fathom/Faith Content Network Opportunities, and Upcoming Theatrical Releases.

There is plenty of misinformation being sewn about the Value Them Both Amendment. As a follower of Christ, I always seek to find Truth to shine light into darkness. There are some informational meetings being held at churches, but if any church is interested in holding an informational meeting to combat deception and misinformation with the Truth, consider emailing speakers@valuethemboth.com and scheduling a speaker NOW. The Value Them Both Amendment will be on the August 2nd, ballot.
I plan to host an informational meeting on July 23, @ 7:00 p.m. at Ebenezer UMC, in Olpe, but haven't gotten it confirmed yet.
However, Eureka is quite a drive for Emporians and Ebenezer is a little off the beaten path. Presentations in Emporia churches would most likely garner more attendance. Please consider hosting an informational meeting using your voice to fulfill Proverbs 31:8 for the unborn.

Family Camp Available for Streaming through Faith Content Network
This movie by The Skit Guys recently released in theaters, but is now available to churches for showings through the Faith Content Network. As I mentioned above, this is an example of a Fathom Events/Faith Content Network release and therefore we were not able to bring it into the Emporia Theater. Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters This one is going straight to streaming on Pureflix on August 1, 2022
The closest Advance Screening of this movie is in Texas, which is a little bit of a drive for me to go screen. Also, it will be releasing to Pureflix streaming instead of as a theatrical release.
Lifemark This one is coming to theaters on September 9, 2022.
So far, I have not received an invitation to an Advance Screening of this movie, but I hope that I will and have reached out to some of my contacts. I still may consider throwing our support behind it because of the Kendrick Brother's previous movies and reputation as well as Kirk Cameron's, but I would still like to see it so I can better promote it.
