A laugh-out-loud musical, [title of show] is a front-row seat to the magic and mess of creativity and collaboration.

The show is about Jeff and Hunter, two struggling writers, who hear about a new musical theatre festival. But, the deadline for submissions is a mere three weeks away! With the help of their friends Susan, Heidi and Larry, the writers decide to write a musical about writing a musical. [title of show] is a hilarious homage to the creative process, friendship, and theatre

Because it's a musical about writing a musical, there are PLENTY of theatre references sprinkled throughout the show. Check out our latest blog post to brush up before the show so you can catch all the clever jokes!

A Little Note from Jenny

Hi all! It has been my absolute pleasure to land in your inbox every other week for the past 19 years. ACT is a wonderful place of creativity and connection, and I am so fortunate to have worked with such incredible people at such a special place. But as REO Speedwagon once said, "It's time for me to fly." I have been so invigorated working with our new staffers Ali and Mikayla - they're full of innovative, creative ideas that will keep you engaged and excited about all that we do at ACT.

It's not goodbye just yet - I'm moving into a Development position for the next few months, but will be leaving ACT at the end of the summer. After that, you'll see me in Baking classes at AB Tech, walking in the woods with my family, and - of course - in the audience here at ACT.
