Hello there, beautiful soul!

Hope this message finds you well.

Proposers are now deep in thought finalizing their proposals. If you have a spare moment - please do jump in and provide them with a last minute feedback. There is still time.

However, do you wish to do more soon? How about helping community make sense of all these proposals and help with assessments? If answer is yes - make sure to read on. Everyone has their own set of experiences and domain knowledge based on that. The power of the collective knowledge comes from each and every one of you/us. By combining the minds we can find the answers to challenges we're tackling together. As a Proposal Assessor you can do exactly that and also earn rewards for.

How? Let's jump right in.

D.

Last call: Proposal submission

Remember - deadline to submit or edit proposals is June 30, 2022 at 11:00 UTC. Following, it won't be possible to add more proposals into Fund9 or to edit/tune already existing submissions. Shortly following we commence the assessments stage and Proposal Assessors begin reviewing your proposals. Don't know where to begin? This Fund9 Launch Guide is a great place to do so.

Help Proposers get better!

  1. Find three (3) proposals with no feedback or low feedback on cardano.ideascale.com platform.
    1. You can use this tool direct that will suggest proposals in the greatest need: https://cardanocataly.st/feedback-challenge-tool/#/
  2. Enhance each idea with your best advice to make it the most impactful it can be.
  3. Bonus: Are you a Proposer? One of the best ways to gain momentum and feedback is provide such to other fellow Proposers and leave a note for request to gain feedback in return. You get what you give!

Become a Proposal Assessor (PA)

Proposers are busy looking into their final edits on their proposals. Meanwhile, Project Catalyst is looking for an independent input from individuals to become Proposal Assessors (PAs). There are about 740 proposals in total so far and we'll need your help in making sure they are ready for the community vote.

Your role will be to use the domain expertise you have to help assess and score proposals before they are loaded into the Voting App. Plus you get paid to do good work.

  • 🏁 Registration end: July 13 at 11 AM UTC (24 hours before end of assessments period)
  • ✍️ Work starts on June 30/July 1 and remains open for about two weeks

Are you passionate about using your knowledge, expertise, and ingenuity to make proposals on Project Catalyst more auditable, feasible, and impactful? This could be you - look at these amazing categories to work in:

Why to become a PA? 👀

  • 👉 Influence the future of Cardano
  • 👉 Level up your skills & awareness about innovation
  • 👉 Receive PA incentives ($640,000 in ada allocated)
  • 👉 Hear from fellow members about their journey in this timestamped video

If being a PA sounds right for you, go over to Ideascale to answer a pop up form & we'll be in touch later next week with further details once the work begins. It will arrive to your e-mail linked with your Ideascale account next week.

Already been a PA in the past? Make sure to re-register once again! Remember that:

  • PAs cannot propose (or be otherwise directly involved with proposals) and perform PA duties in the same challenge
