As a monthly donor, you can make an ongoing impact to pets in our community. The story of Big Boi’s journey is a good example of the positive influence your donation makes to the animals of the GTHS. On March 17th of this year, an injured male stray cat was found in Collingwood after being hit by a vehicle. He was taken to Mountain Vista Veterinary Hospital, where his condition was stabilized. He was then transferred to the GTHS where our medical team discovered he had a fractured pelvis and an injured eye. The GTHS team jumped into action to ensure that he was cared for and a plan was created to help him recover from his injuries. Named Big Boi , he opened his heart to the entire GTHS staff and volunteers as he began to heal and improve. Today, Big Boi has a clean bill of health and has recently been adopted into a home with a family who loves him.
