Executive Director Search

Pacific Islanders in Communications (PIC) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Executive Director.

The Executive Director is passionate about PIC’s mission to amplify Pacific Islander voices through media and has a proven track record leading in the media industry. The Executive Director leads and nurtures the administration, well-being, and community impact of PIC.

Ideal candidates are innovative, strategic thinkers with demonstrated leadership of nonprofits, strong management, and relationship-building skills, and committed to making a significant impact on Pacific Islander communities through storytelling.

Requirements:

• 2+ years in an executive or senior management role or 5+ years in supervisory roles at a nonprofit
• Knowledge of public broadcasting and Pacific Islander communities
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills paired with people-first, influential character
• Fundraising/fund development experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Legislative, grant writing, and working with/for a Board of Directors is preferred
