Registration is Open

The Evanston Civic Orchestra and Chorus are soon beginning rehearsals for an exciting December concert titled "Christmas Classics," and you are invited to join us! From Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride" to "O Tannenbaum" and "Deck the Halls," this concert will have many familiar songs and perhaps a few that are new to you. Mark Your Calendar

All rehearsals are from 6-8 pm at Davis Middle School in Evanston unless noted. Music checkout at the first rehearsal is at 5:30 pm. The concert is at 7:30 pm with a soundcheck and warmup rehearsal at 6pm beforehand.

New Evanston Civic Chorus Music Director

After filling in last spring and successfully leading the Evanston Civic Chorus in the "Pure Imagination" concert, Victoria Cavazos will continue as ECC Music Director this fall.

Victoria Cavazos is a soprano and music educator. She taught choir in Texas for 11 years, with consistent Sweepstakes awards and multiple All-State students. She loves putting together vibrant, unique concerts brimming with a variety of musical styles and an emphasis on authentic expression, beautiful tone, strong technique, and creative artistry. Join the Chorus

All members of the community, high school age and older, are invited to sing with the Evanston Civic Chorus. Prior experience or auditions are not required for becoming a Chorus member. The chorus will rehearse in the choir room at Davis Middle School.

Join the Orchestra

All member of the community, high school age and older, are invited to play with the Evanston Civic Orchestra. Orchestra members should have a moderate degree of training/experience in playing music. The orchestra will rehearse on stage at Davis Middle School.
