Joint Dakota Encampment
Trains Cadets
Close to 100 CAP senior and cadet members are attending the Joint Dakota Encampment this week at Camp Grafton, Devil’s Lake, ND. The closing ceremonies are tomorrow and members will head home on Sunday. Forty-three of the attendees are from South Dakota Wing, joining 25 from North Dakota and also members from Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, North Carolina, Nebraska, New York, and Wisconsin. Region Flight Academy
South Dakota Wing’s aircraft N97947 is in Fremont, NE, in support of the CAP’s North Central Region Powered Flight Academy June 16-30. The academy offers eligible CAP cadets flight training and the potential to solo. (Read more)
