 Fourth of July in Downtown! 

Happy (early) Fourth of July! Make plans to see fireworks in Downtown Tulsa this year. The Mayo Hotel is hosting Rock the Rooftop on Monday, July 4th starting at 6 PM! This is a ticketed event that includes a festive buffet dinner. Must be 21+ to attend, and you can find tickets here.

Looking for something fun for the whole family? The Tulsa Drillers have three straight fireworks shows at ONEOK Field—Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night! Click here for tickets.

However you choose to celebrate, remember to do so safely! 

 July First Friday 

Enjoy a night in Downtown Tulsa for July's First Friday Art CrawlFrom 6-9 PM on July 1st, you can check out galleries, studios, and museums as well as shops and restaurants in Downtown, many of which will feature live entertainment!

See Living Arts of Tulsa's newest exhibits, including Inspired by Archetypes, an exhibition that features work from sixty-nine community artists. You can also still see 108 Contemporary's FIBERWORKS exhibition that aims to educate the public about the many facets of fiber artistry!

 ahha Creative Camps

Keep your kids creative this summer at ahha Tulsa's Creative CampsChildren ages 6-17 can enjoy camps at the state-of-the-art ahha Hardesty Center in a range of new and traditional media.

From photography and poetry to game design and more, there’s something to spark the creativity in everyone! You can view a full list of camps and prices here. ahha also offers a Creative Camps scholarship for camps, which families with demonstrated financial need can apply for here

 In the Absence of Gathering

On Friday night, visit Flagship from 5-6 p.m. to preview In the Absence of Gathering curated by Anita Fields, Tulsa Artist Fellowship Arts Integration awardee! The exhibit explores the space left by our absence at family dinners, feasts, and community gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Guests can enjoy catering by Chef Nico Albert of Burning Cedar Indigenous Foods during the preview, then visit with the Tulsa Artist Fellows in their studios from 6-9 p.m.

 Guthrie Green's Splash Pad is On!

Guthrie Green's Splash Pad is back after more than two years! If you're trying to beat the summer heat, take a trip to Guthrie Green and check it out for yourself. You can also check out Guthrie Green's summer events and programming, like their Summer Storytime on the Green series! The next storytime session is on Wednesday, July 6th, featuring Dana Morris of I AM KIDS Tulsa with yoga storytime! Click here to view Guthrie Green's events calendar. Stay cool, Tulsa!

 Curbside Haiku

You have until today at 5 PM to submit your Downtown Haiku! Downtown Tulsa Partnership is working with Magic City Books to decorate Downtown Tulsa with poetry communicating Downtown’s vibrancy and inclusivity! As part of July “Celebrate Downtown” activities, up to 10 haiku will be selected among submissions, printed on yard signs and temporarily installed in the public right-of-way throughout Downtown. Submit yours now!
