Very busy here at Westhope as we prepare for our Open Day on Friday,
8th July. We do hope that you will be able to join us. The wildflower meadow is particularly spectacular this year.
If you are interested in our City & Guilds Basketry or Printmaking courses that start in October, this will be an opportunity to meet the tutors and students and to see the wonderful pieces that they have made during the year of their course. In the meantime, if you would like to receive details of City & Guilds Basketry (Level 2 or 3) or Printmaking (Level 2) courses, please email Eileen@westhope.org.uk

What a pleasure it was last week to host another British Violin Making Association course, this time a residential retouch week with restorer of fine violins, Iris Carr. To quote Iris, “Having a wonderful week at Westhope College in Shropshire organised by the BVMA. Working hard during the day and trying out different pubs every night in great company – what’s not to like!”. We thought you might be interested to see these images (some courtesy of Iris) from this fabulous course. We are looking forward to seeing BVMA members for their next residential course at Westhope in March 2023.
