Build Reuse invites you to submit a session proposal for Deconstruction + Reuse '22, the only North American conference focused explicitly on reuse in the built environment. 

Decon + Reuse ‘22 will focus on action: Build Your Reuse Toolkit. This year’s conference aims to provide attendees with a set of strategies and actions that enable them to foster building material reuse in their communities now and advance the deconstruction and reuse industry into the future.

We are looking for presentations that explore the themes described above and the following topics:

• Policy as drivers of reuse communities (city, state, national and international level)
• Partnerships to drive reuse (regional initiatives)
• Design for deconstruction
• Measuring reuse data
• Material reuse in the commercial sector
• Transforming places of waste collection to reuse (rethink the transfer station)
• Inspiring reuse projects (art, renovation, adaptive reuse)
• Reuse retail (innovation, programing, marketing, online sales, entrepreneurship) 
• Deconstruction projects (new techniques, scale, bidding, blight reduction, job training)
• Virtual tours (reuse store, deconstruction site, adaptive reuse project, etc.)

Solution Sessions
One of the highlights of Decon + Reuse conferences is our “Solution Sessions,” where small groups generate action-oriented ideas on topics of importance. The conference again will also host an afternoon of Solution Sessions workshops/discussions. We welcome suggestions for topics that represent a major challenge to our goals of achieving a more circular construction industry. Optional Solutions Sessions proposals may be submitted at the end of the submission form. These may be stand-alone submissions or in addition to a presentation session submission.
