I wanted to reach out to touch base on a few topics for the summer before we kick off our 11th fall season.
Requirements via summer for the competition team:
I hope the dancers (and parents) are enjoying a much deserved break after the Annie Jr production!
After the month of June, the competition dancers are required to take at least one (1) workshop or class through the summer to keep up their skills and techniques they have worked so hard on last season
*For those auditioning in August, the August workshop is required in order to audition
Summer Fundraising:
If you have not already done so, please add fundraising@kaymichaelleestudio.com to your contact list.
This group of motivated parents arrange monthly meetings and fundraisers to offset the costs of the competition fees
this is a separate group from the studio

We communicate frequently on the free Team App. You will receive an invite to the app in the coming weeks if you have not already received a message
August 2022:
After the second round of auditions has completed, (Thursday, August 11) we will be holding our annual parent meeting prior to the first competition company rehearsal.
Mandatory Parent Meeting: Date and Time TBA
Need one (1) parent present for each dancer/family at the meeting to obtain folder of paperwork and go over what is expected for the coming year
Week of August 15 - 18:
We have scheduled in a week of choreography for the competition dancers to kick off their season before the fall season starts. A detailed schedule will come out later this summer.
