The Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College Chicago’s DARKROOM, their annual benefit auction, brought in $230,000 to support the museum.

CREATIVE CONVERSATIONS: TECH + FASHION

Join us for this fabulous Creative Conversation featuring alumnae and Trustee Cayla Weisberg ’09 and Jacqueline Rezak ’10. Friends since high school, Weisberg and Rezak attended Columbia together, and are both now wildly successful entrepreneurs in the tech and fashion sectors.The conversation will be moderated by Fashion Studies faculty member and Project Runway alum, Justin LeBlanc and will cover topics such as early-stage financing, styling celebrities, social media strategy, the necessity of networking, and some keys to landing an angel investor.

Beyond the Frame Opening Reception

Join the MoCP and select exhibiting artists for the opening reception of Beyond the Frame. This exhibit spotlights the MoCP’s permanent collection of more than 16,500 works as a rich resource for harnessing visual literacy skills. Each gallery features works focused on critical topics that appear over and over again in the history of the medium, such as Portraiture and the Human Subject, Landscape and Place, and Staged and Constructed Images.
