School’s out and summer is here! With July Long Weekend just around the corner, we know you’re probably hankering from some adventuring and a change of scenery. That’s why Breathe Outdoors has partnered up with Keri Bowzaylo, a local hiking guide with a breadth of outdoors experience, to bring you two FREE EVENTS to fill your long weekend with all the exploration and adventure you’ve been craving!

Hidden behind every piece of history is a story - full of different characters, narratives, and events that shape our world as we know it. During this free guided hike, Keri Bowzaylo talks about the forgotten history of female mountaineering and the fearless female adventurers who explored the Canadian Rockies just as fiercely as their male counter parts. Learn the stories of Lizzie Rummel, Mary Schaffer, and many other Mountain Women whose contributions to mountain history should not - and frankly cannot - be forgotten.

Cost: This is a FREE Guided Hike hosted by Keri Bowzaylo.

From All Trails: This kid-friendly 10.3-km out-and-back trail is near Kananaskis Improvement, Alberta. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 20 min to complete.

From All Trails: Get to know this kid-friendly 7.1-km out-and-back trail near Exshaw, Alberta. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 2 h 36 min to complete.
