“Think of bicycles as ridable art that can just about save the world.” ~ Grant Petersen, bicycle designer

"What photo op?" you ask.  "Can I get in on it?  Should I bring my bike?  Do I have to do my hair?"  Yes, yes and no (so long as you have your helmet...)

This Wednesday, a photographer from the Town of Georgina is coming to the Wednesday GOOFS ride to take pictures.  He is promoting activities in the town and he'll also give us a promo picture for our club.  The more people we have out, the better.

In case you aren't familiar with the Wednesday GOOFS, it's a 60 km loop starting at 10:00 a.m. from the Tim Horton's on Leslie, just south of Gorham.  The slower group starts first, and the faster group catches them.  Then both groups ride together for a brief time before splitting again and hammering along their respective routes to see who will make it to the rendezvous first.  Then everyone rides back together.  It's a blast.  And this week, you get to be a bike model for a pro photographer - how can you resist?

Other rides happening this week include the Tuesday night ride to Musselman's, Wednesday and Thursday eGALs, Thursday GOOFS and Thursday Hammer ride.  Then Saturday's rides head towards Uxbridge & Goodwood and Sunday is the long-awaited ride to Port Perry (remember this ride starts at 8:00 a.m. and has two different route options).

It's going to be a great week - a special ride, a photographer for Wednesday GOOFS and all the awesome rides we always have.  See you on the roads :)
