The ISSD Africa Community of Practice (CoP) enables learning from action research in 12 countries across 8 topics. Some 50+ partner organisations contribute to CoP activities and 700+ people receive this newsletter.
To better understand your relationship with the CoP and how the CoP's activities can support you better, we would be grateful for your time to respond to this short survey.There are 14 short questions and answering should not take more than 20-30 minutes of your time. Your contributions will feed discussions around the efficacy of this phase of ISSD Africa and help shape future phases.

On June 15th, this webinar discussed findings of a multi-country study that applies a gender lens to what drives seed entrepreneurism, and assesses factors that specifically influence women’s success in seed business.

Mercy Corps, SeedSystem and ISSD Africa held a webinar on June 8th to learn about a new practical guide for humanitarian practitioners: the Seed Emergency Response Tool (SERT). During the webinar Stephen Walsh (USAID) gave impetus for attendees to use the tool. Tool developers introduced and explained how SERT provides guidance on best practice for seed emergency response.
