The Brandon University Healthy Living Centre will play host to the 6th annual 'Prairie Cup' series of basketball games for the first time since 2019 between Manitoba and Saskatchewan's 15U, 17U and 18U provincial teams. The event is slated for Sunday, July 3 at the Brandon University Healthy Living Centre located at 2010 Louise Ave on the Brandon University Campus with games occurring between the province's top 15 to 18-year-old players.
A total of 12 games will be played as part of a series of exhibition contests in preparation for the 15U & 17U Canada Basketball National Championships in Alberta (male) and Quebec (female) later this August with the 18U teams heading to the 2022 Canada Summer Games in Niagra Falls, ON.
This event marks the 6th time Basketball Manitoba and Basketball Saskatchewan will send their best to play a series of exhibition games in Brandon.

The 2022-23 Junior Bison Boys Basketball Club have announced details on their open tryouts that will take place at the University of Manitoba Investors Group Athletic Centre (75 Sidney Smith St) from August 22nd to August 25th.
The Junior Bison Boys Basketball Club runs competitive teams for boys born 2012-2005, please tryout for team in your birth year.

Teams will have 2 tryout nights each being a 2 hour session, please attend both sessions. Total cost for both sessions is $25, to be paid in cash at the gym when registering.
After tryouts players will be contacted via email on if they have made the team or not.
Please come in gym attire and shoes with your own basketball and waterbottle.
