How to Make Water Conservation Work in California

Later this summer, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) could vote to adopt a proposal that would eliminate a best-practice regulatory tool – known as decoupling – that currently removes the incentive for water suppliers to sell more water.

John Tang, VP of Regulatory Affairs and Government Relations at San Jose Water Company will be presenting information on the benefits of severing the link between the utility's revenue and its sales, and requiring significant conservation investments by the utility.

Also, a presentation by Ashley Shannon, Valley Water Senior Water Conservation Specialist on Water Conservation Programs and Rebates.
