It's the end of June and that means we are closing out Pride month. This year the Denver Pride parade was on June 26. To all who marched, donated, or cheered from the sidelines, THANK YOU! Now more than ever we need diverse representation in the state of Colorado and around the country. I am the first openly transgender legislator in Colorado and 1 out of 8 nationwide. The Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has made the LGBTQ+ community nervous for what may happen next. Will trans rights or same sex marriage be next? Whether you're part of the community or an ally, we need your support more than ever to preserve the rights we fought for for so many years. 

As we approach the end of Pride month, it is important to remember that LGBTQ+ visibility does not end here! Advocating for equality and inclusion is not just limited to one month, we need to continue to fight for this year-round. The LGBTQ+ community needs representation like mine to stand up for marginalized people here in Colorado and elsewhere. I have done so much already, and I want to continue to fight for you. Contributions are limited to $400 every 2 year election cycle from individuals, sole proprietorships, LLPs, LLCs and state PACS and $5,350 from small donor committees. Contributions from corporations, labor unions, foreign governments and non-US citizens are prohibited. Contributions are not tax deductible. Donations from registered Colorado lobbyists or principals of lobbyists are prohibited during the legislative session running from January 12th to May 11th, 2022 and any email or donation page from this campaign is not soliciting a contribution from lobbyists or principals of lobbyists.
