                                Fixit Clinic

       Saturday, August 13, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Are you an experienced or aspiring repairer? Or do you have a broken item in need of repair? The Fixit Clinic is an event focused on reusing items.

Keep Albuquerque Beautiful is teaming up with Fuse Makerspace to hold their second-ever in-person Fixit Clinic. This free, all-ages, do-it-together "pop-up" gives people an opportunity to learn how to assess, disassemble, and hopefully repair their broken household items instead of sending them to the landfill.

If you can, please register by August 1, 2022 at 5 p.m. so they can start pairing up coaches with participants. Walk-ins and late registrations are welcome and will be accepted.

Annual SLANA memberships cost $5 for individuals and $10 for businesses. Any memberships paid now are good through February 2023. To join or renew, go to our website https://slananm.org for payment options, including PayPal.

Please consider joining so that we can continue with our postcard mailing next year.  It is not a guarantee that we will be able to get a sponsorship or donations next year and it would mean a lot if we had neighborhood support to continue our efforts to keep everyone informed.

Interested in being on the Board?  Our annual elections are held at the February General Meeting and we take nominations at any time.  You must be a member to be on the Board.

To become familiar with what has been happening, you can view minutes and financial statements at  https://slananm.org/page/documents and prior newsletters at https://us19.campaign-archive.com/home/?u=99d397114dbc1ea8a921645c0&id=f874624079.
