Community comes together for NAIDOC Week

We celebrated NAIDOC Week last week with a range of activities across the City. Members of the Subiaco community gathered for a traditional flag raising and smoking ceremony led by Noongar Elder Freda Ogilvie. The flags were raised by representatives from Subi Kids Crew.

Proud Noongar woman and artist, Seantelle Walsh, added to the celebration by painting the front doors of the Administration Centre, and this will remain on the doors for the rest of the month.

Thank you to everyone who joined us.
