Secret Word: Instant 10% Discount off your purchase

The secret word for the weekend is "Squawroot" - tell Farmer John the secret word and he will give you a 10% discount off your purchase.  May not be used with other discounts!

Conopholis americana, the American cancer-rootsquawroot (a racial slur), bumeh or bear corn, is a perennial, non-photosynthesizing (or "achlorophyllous") parasitic plant. It is from the family Orobanchaceae and more recently from the genus Conopholis but also listed as Orobanche, native but not endemic to North America. When blooming, it resembles a pine cone or cob of corn growing from the roots of mostly oak and beech trees.[4][5] It gets its common name "squaw-root" for its usage by Native American women to treat menstrual cramps and other female ailments, due to its astringency.
