Holy Communion this Sunday for online worship, please remember to prepare. We continue our practice of observing Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. We created a video to offer guidance on how to prepare for Holy Communion at home. If you haven't seen it yet, or could use a reminder, we hope this may serve you in preparing for the Lord's Supper this coming Lord's Day.
Meals Requested! We are asking for people to donate or prepare meals for the Project Destiny staff and campers from July 3 - July 29. They are volunteering all summer for our in-person summer program for middle schoolers and serving together for 5 weeks of ministry. Please consider serving and supporting them by donating meals. Junior Worship Preschool Junior Worship is in-person pre-K. Junior Worship Preschool students are Age 2 by 09/01/2021 through Kindergarten (rising 1st graders). Please drop off in Room 206 by 9:15am and pick up in Room 205 by 10:30am. Please take your child to the toilet prior to drop off, & no eating or drinking inside the church building. Since space is limited for COVID safety, please sign up for a student spot here.

Rocky Railway VBS, Chinatown (August 15-19 9am-3pm) Climb aboard for a mountain of fun at Rocky Railway VBS for a faith-filled adventure. We welcome children entering 1st -5th grade this Fall. Ordination & Installation as Assistant Pastor Ceremony for Steve Liu will be on Sunday, August 28, 2022, 3:30pm at 120 Shawmut Ave in the Multifunction room. All are invited.
Reimbursement Form A new version of the reimbursement form is now available on BCEC’s website. There is now an option to treat expenses as donations to the BCEC General Fund, in which case no check will be issued. BOD urges brothers and sisters to submit all expenses using this form so that we can track ministry expenses more accurately.

- Pray for global partners Henry & Ling Lu serving as General Director of Chinese Overseas Christian Mission (COCM) in England. Recently they had their annual staff retreat, where they were able to spend time to reflect on their calling together, share ministries with one another and pray for one another. Please pray for unity, wisdom, and strength among their staff members.
- Social Responsibility Pray for Afghanistan‘s Paktika province, which was hit by a devastating earthquake Wednesday. More than 1000 people are estimated killed and up to 1800 homes destroyed. Pray for relief and comfort for victims and that the new government would be able work quickly with international aid to save lives.

Help PD? Project Destiny is BCEC's summer outreach program for middle school, offering enrichment labs, field trips, community, and summertime fun while sharing the gospel! Want to help a little or a lot? Sharing your time, food, funds, and even gear will help make a difference! Please let us know how you'd like to help here.
Vacation Bible School (Chinatown Outreach) Volunteers Want to see kids (1st -5th graders) in the community know the love of God this summer? Come help VBS in-person (8/15-19, 9am-3pm) or prepare pre-recorded lessons. We are looking for full and part time team members to teach, befriend children in small groups, do science and engineering experiments, drama, music, games, crafts, food prep, and registration. Please fill out the interest form or contact Lorraine Ho for any questions.
Newton Youth Ministry both on Friday and Sundays are now meeting in-person. We are still looking for volunteers who have a heart to serve the youth as counselors. If you're interested in serving as a counselor, please contact Pastor Ken for more information.
