A busy email this month! But before I give you the details about the Bring and Take morning, the Parish has a referendum tomorrow (Thursday). You have probably seen the Parish bulletin emails about it, but if not read about it here:

The more people that vote, the more legitimacy the plan has (if passed). On a personal note I think it is amazing that, after so much effort by so many people, Ewhurst and Ellens Green finally has a worthy Neighbourhood Plan. I will be voting in favour.
Ewhurst LEAP is holding a Bring and Take Morning on Sunday 10th July! After some years without a Clear Out day, we have resurrected it and given it a more accurate name. Unlike previous occasions, this year it will be held on a Sunday, and won't clash with the School Fete weekend. Please come to the recreation ground between 10 and 12am with unwanted but useable items, and take home anything dropped off on the rec that you would like. Unfortunately we cannot accept furniture or electrical items. All items must be freely given (and freely taken too).
Later on in the month, the Friends of St Peter and St Paul are holding their first Family Fun Day at the Sayers Croft Outdoor Centre in Ewhurst. This is on Saturday 30th July, and Ewhurst LEAP would like some volunteers to help on our stall. If you are free and can help for an hour or two, please reply to me.
If you have been following LEAP for a while you will know that we are promoting the Cranleigh and Ewhurst Solar Streets campaign. This has stumbled because of a nationwide stock shortage of solar panel equipment. If you have sent a message to IDDEA and they replied that their waiting list is currently closed, please forward your name, home address and phone number to Cat and Andy at Info@SolarStreets.co.uk, who will maintain a list to send to IDDEA when things improve.
