THE EVENT
At Margaritas in the 'Ville, guests will enjoy the best
margaritas the city has to offer. Restaurants and bartenders
will compete for votes to receive the “best margarita” trophy.
Enjoy live entertainment, fantastic river view and ’ritas!
NOTE: Vendor space is limited and is reserved on a first come first serve basis so don't wait!
● Each participant will receive two table cloths. (one covering the entire table and a second el Jimador table cloth
● Each participant will be provided 6 El Jimador liter bottles of their choice (Reposado or Blanco) at no charge at the event.
● Each participant will receive approximately 500 2 Oz sample cups. Margaritas will be poured to 1 Oz.
● Each participant will receive el Jimador napkins to offer guests when sampling your margarita.
● We recommend participants bring cloth towels for cleanup, etc., during and after event.
● The event will take place in the lawn overlooking the Ohio River. Participant area 10’ x 10’ (approximate). You are encouraged to decorate your area but are not required to do so.
● Guests will receive a “Sampling Card” at registration with each participant listed on the card. Guests will take their sample card to each participant and receive ONE (1) sample from each participant. Participants must mark off their business on each sample card after the the guest has been served their sample.
● Participants will be participating in a “Critics Choice” margarita contest where guest judges will receive a blind sample from each participant. The judges will select the winner.
● Participants will also be judged by the “People”. Each guest will receive a small token at registration and after sampling the margaritas will vote for their favorite margarita by placing their token in the container for the participant. ****IMPORTANT**** ONE VOTE PER PERSON.
