In addition to the Ballfield Games on the 4th, there are so many fun ways to celebrate the holiday in the area.  Here are some suggestions: Come to church on Sunday and hear our mighty choir perform the Battle Hymn of the Republic. Run in the Firecracker 5K race in Beulah on the 4th (Registration 6:45-7:45am or preregister at www.clcba.org, race at 8:00am). Go to the parade on the 4th in downtown Frankfort starting at 10:00am. Visit Art in the Park in Market Square in downtown Frankfort also starting at 10:00am. See the fireworks display on the Frankfort Lake Michigan beach at dusk on the 4th, or watch the fireworks at 10:15pm over Crystal Lake between CSA beach and the Yacht Club.  However you choose to spend the holiday we wish you happy times and fond memories!
Message from our Managing Director:
With July 4th next week, please remember when enjoying the CSA Lake Michigan Beach and Crystal Lake firepit to be mindful of the following safety rules:
  • Fires are allowed, but must be extinguished when you leave
  • Quiet hours begin at 11:00pm until 8:00am
  • Alcohol, marijuana, and illegal drugs are prohibited on all CSA beaches and common grounds
  • Fireworks are prohibited on Lake Michigan Beach
  • Glass containers are prohibited at Lake Michigan Beach
  • Remove all of your trash when you leave the beach
The emphasis of these important guidelines is to help ensure the safety and enjoyment of beachgoers as well as to respect to cottage owners near the beach. For more information about waterfront common property rules see page 55 in the 2022 Assembly News.  Thank you for your compliance with these rules.
