WGC Emergency Response Network Request - $1,000 - Can You Help?
The Women’s Giving Circle of Howard County is requesting help in raising $1,000 to support a client at HopeWorks through our Emergency Response Network (ERN).
This financial support will assist this client who has been in the HopeWorks residence program since April due to Domestic Violence imminent danger.
The client was granted a Family Protection Order against the abuser. The client is in need of financial assistance with several things: storage and outstanding BGE bills that the abuser left after fleeing the area. This client has been on a consistent housing search and has called all the Howard County housing agencies but has not been offered any housing assistance yet. This client is worried about being homeless and being left with outstanding debt.
On behalf of our partners at HopeWorks we are looking to raise $1,000 to support this client in need.
