SCREEN-PRINTING ACTIVITIES, PRESENTATIONS, + ARTIST TALK
Friends,

We continue to offer drop-in Community Make Art Projects on the CVAG plaza every Wednesday from 2 to 6pm throughout the summer. Tomorrow (Wednesday, July 20), we will be live screen-printing with
Wachiay Studio!

Everyone is welcome to our Wednesday all-ages Make Art Projects. Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted. While you're downtown, visit the Courtenay Farmers' Market, which is from 3 to 6pm on Duncan Avenue, right in front of the Gallery.

We also invite you to join us Thursday, July 28, when we are hosting Wachiay Studio for an evening of activity connected to their annual Squeegeerama event. There will be live screen-printing, a presentation of artwork from past Squeegeeramas, and an artist talk with special guest Dan Stiles.

Read on for more details. We hope to see you soon.

SUMMER PROGRAMMING: AN INTEREST IN PLACE

For over 40 years, Marlene Creates (pronounced "Kreets") has has been creating art and poetry as an exploration of human experience, memory, language, the land, and the impact they have on each other.

CVAG's Summer 2022 Community Make Art Projects (2 - 6pm, Wednesdays) are an invitation to engage with the gallery's place-based programming through explorations, observations, and conversations that are seen in Marlene Creates' exhibition.
