I thought I'd try a little video.
These tiny studies are me trying to work out the color, composition, and contrast for a few ideas that keep lingering. There's a partial vision for four of the six paintings that I haven't quite resolved but the results just seemed like little gems to me (especially being on paper) so I wanted to make them available. The last two (in yellow and pink) I developed a bit more.
Also, some of you may recognize the background in two of the studies. They were inspired by a local Chattanooga artist friend who has since painted over her own version. :)
