Replacing a Rotary Cutter Blade
To replace the blade, follow the directions that are included on the packaging. Take the cutter apart one piece at a time and lay the parts in the order you’ve removed them, then reassemble once you've replaced the blade.
Dispose of the blade in the container it came in, or a spare blade container, taping it shut to avoid it coming open. If you’re using a multi-pack of blades, carefully wrap the blade in several layers of paper or cardboard and taping securely with boxing or duct tape.

How Should I Place My Spool On My Machine?
- Aurifil Cotton threads are cross wound on the spools which requires consideration for how the thread is delivered to the first machine thread guide.
– Position cross wound spools such that the thread is pulled over the top of the spool before making contact with the first guide.
– If the machine thread post is horizontal, be sure to secure the spool of thread with a cap that is smaller than the center spool diameter.
– If the machine thread post is vertical, it’s best to draw the thread straight up over the top of the spool. On some machines this may require an external thread strand or guide be used.
