Mrs. Carroll’s turning 80!

Dear Seton Community,

Tuesday, August 9th marks the 80th birthday of our beloved Mrs. Carroll. We are planning to celebrate a Mass of thanksgiving for her generosity and her steadfast example of faith and for her intentions:

SETON CHAPEL: AUGUST 9: 7:00 pm. A reception will follow. Mrs. Carroll has emphasized that she does not want anyone to bring her gifts, except prayers. To honor Mrs Carroll’s request we would like to present her with a very generous Spiritual Bouquet during the reception. Please send any prayers you intend to offer for Mrs. Carroll’s intentions by August 5th to: spiritualbouquet4ac@gmail.com
Ideas include but are not limited to: Rosaries, Masses, Holy Hours, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Memorares, Sacrifices, Any Devotion.

Additionally, the staff at Seton thought it would be appropriate to establish the Anne Carroll Seton Alumni Prayer Community. Seton School has a vibrant prayer community, however; we aim to organize it. The goal of the prayer community is to keep our alumni spiritually linked through prayer. We invite former Seton students to let us know their prayer intentions (when they are: discerning vocations, looking for employment, getting married, having children, struggling with illnesses and more). This way, current students and the alumni could pray for these needs.
There are many aspects of modern life that tend to pull people apart and make them feel isolated. The goal of Seton has been to unite people to God and each other through Christ. With the limitless power of prayer this prayer community will be a big step in bringing us closer to God and one another.
If you are receiving this message and have contact information on any Seton alumni or past members of the Seton community, please send updated contact information to
alumni@setonschool.net: Name, email address, class year, social media contact, mailing address or a phone number. We plan to reach out quarterly for prayer requests.

Please Pray For Mrs Carroll in a special way on August 9th.
May God Bless You All,Bob Pennefather
