This past weekend was the TAC and AFL Victoria Road Safety Round.
Thank you to all club members for getting involved with the TAC Road Safety Round. All of Junior and Senior Players wore the blue armbands to show support. Check out some of our teams wearing the TAC blue armbands!

Saturday Senior Men's Vs De La Salle
The wind was ferocious against rivals De La Salle, but that couldn’t stop our Seniors and Reserves from taking out the win! Ray Chamberlain was the guest speaker at our Lasallian Luncheon which was also a great turnout!  #feeltheroar

One of our past players is looking to employ club players in his lawn and gardening business. In the past he has worked in with University students to give them a couple of days employment a week which works around their curriculum. Alternatively it may suit players who need some part time work.

Cyber Safety Information Evening
|

Susan McLean is Australia’s foremost expert in the area of cyber safety and was a member of Victoria Police for 27 years. Widely known as the ‘cyber cop’ she was the first Victorian Police appointed to a position involving cyber safety and young people.
Susan is employed by elite sporting bodies such as the AFL (Australian Football League) and also Cricket Australia where she presented to the Australian Team, State teams both male and female as well as junior development squads. She has just been contracted to work with Tennis Australia, both in the education of players and officials as well as assisting in the development of Policy. She has given expert evidence at the NSW Government Legislative Council’s Standing Committee hearing into the bullying of children and young people also to a Federal Government Inquiry on a related issue.
She is the presenter of choice for many corporate organisation such as Myer, AMEX, Supreme Court Victoria, City of Melbourne, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Peter McCallum Cancer Centre and Coles. Susan has an in-depth understanding of an organisation's legal obligations such as 'duty of care' and how that applies to online issues/behaviors and is an expert in cybersafety/social media policy review and development. She is the presenter of choice for many corporate organisation such as Myer, AMEX, Supreme Court Victoria, City of Melbourne, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Peter McCallum Cancer Centre and Coles.
Susan will present on Cyber Safety to the St Bedes/Mentone Football Club on Wednesday 27th July at 7.30pm, she will cover off the legal aspects of social media, the advantages the pitfalls and how to use it to our advantage.
It’s important and expected all Players attend (17+), Parents, Club Officials and Sponsors also welcome.
