Bid Writers available through CSO
As many of you will know, we ran a very successful Bid Writer project last year where we provided bid writer services to our members to enable to them to be able to submit high quality applications when applying for funding.
Unfortunately we are not able to provide this service free of charge anymore, however we will be able to provide bid writers to our members at a rate of £400 per day. Please note that CSO will receive no money for this service, as we will only be responsible for introducing you to the bid writer. After initial introductions CSO's involvement will finish and all other communications will be between the member and the bid writer.
Please contact our Membership Operations Coordinator, Harriett Johnson on 0208 064 0874 / harriett@councilofsomaliorgs.com

City Bridge Trust - New and improved: our environmental funding strand
|
|
City Bridge Trust can provide revenue support for environmental projects, capital funding for green improvements and free Eco-audits to help you identify the positive changes your organisation could make.
Their revenue funding can support small or large projects. They could be neighbourhood, borough, sub-regional, or even pan-London approaches to mitigating and/or adapting to climate change. Applications must have a clear community benefit and show evidence of community engagement.
Examples include work focused on protecting, managing, expanding, or enriching green spaces, tackling poor air quality, flood/drought mitigation, promoting biodiversity, adapting to climate change, or enabling access to growing spaces.
Their free Eco-audits already help organisations to be more sustainable and reduce their carbon footprint. Now, following an Eco-audit, eligible organisations can apply for up to £150,000 of capital funding to fund building works or improvements to reduce carbon footprint, improve resource use, and/or enhance biodiversity.
Examples of works could include insulation, solar panels, heat pumps, on-site biodiversity schemes, and energy efficient lighting systems.
