A bunch of tales I wanted to share with you

A tale I read

A tale I heard

Comedian Ellie White on how her on-screen partnership with Tash Demetriou came about:

"We were both pursuing solo careers on the London live scene. We both used to shake with nerves before we went on stage. We did a lot of gigs together, but separately. Backstage neither of us wanted to go out, saying, "I don't want to go onstage. It's gonna be hell." So we thought: why not combine and both quake together? It's easier and it's nicer."

A tale I saw

Being British by Deanna Rodger

A tale I wrote

After John Hegley

I woke up feeling brilliant,
like an unfrozen ice pop
placed into a stand up freezer,
a Weetabix biscuit drowning
in full fat milk, a buttercup
being sniffed. I woke up feeling
brilliant and realised I didn't
know the exact definition of brilliant
so I searched online and it told me
I woke up shining brightly; distinguished;
having or showing great intelligence;
strong and clear in tone; vivid; bright;
I woke up feeling maybe I need to
understand words before using them.
